The January 2010 session of Eclat de Mode closed on an upbeat note with a huge rise in visitor numbers indicating a return to pre-recession form. The exhibitors were satisfied with their presence at the show and pleased with their results. The general feeling is that there are signs of economic recovery.
These figures plus positive feedback from exhibitors, point to a marked upturn in buying intentions. The exhibition recorded a healthy total of 13,529 visits. The latest breakdown shows 65% French and 35% international visitors.
On the exhibitor side, the January 2010 session of Eclat de Mode brought together 383 designers (200 international and 183 French). The offer is segmented into 5 main sections to make it easier for visitors to find their way around:
- Fashion, Designer and Fine Jewellery (52%)
- Silver, Gold, Gold-Plated, Fashion Watches and Piercing (34%)
- Fashion Accessories (3%)
- "Elements": supplies, finishings, boxes and cases, etc. (11%)
- Cream by Eclat de Mode – turning the spotlight on ‘glam chic’, an original showcase for 40 handpicked designers
