IPA will take place from 17 to 21 October 2010 alongside SIAL, the Global Food Marketplace, and In-Food, in the new Hall 7 at Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre. This synergy will boost IPA’s international profile and showcase the entire food industry. The show’s international dimension will be reinforced, particularly through the events programme, the Innovation Research Forum and the International Meeting (new in 2010).
The Innovation Research Forum featuring talks by European speakers is open to all visitors. It is a unique opportunity to keep abreast of the most recent R&D projects, technological advances in process engineering and, more generally, innovation applied specifically to the food industry.
Bringing together the three major food industry exhibitions – IPA, the international food processing exhibition, SIAL, the Global Food Marketplace, and In-Food – under one banner represents a complete round-up of the offer covering every aspect of the food industry from processing to end product. There is an obvious overlap between the 3 shows and the logic of this move is popular with IPA exhibitors. “SIAL is the exhibition most visited by IPA visitors” (source: IPA 2008 visitors’ survey), so with 53,000 food manufacturers visiting SIAL, 50% of them international, IPA should see a boost in the number of international visitors from its prime target audience.
